Position Overview
Matthew Sanscrainte Hospitality Group (MSHG) is seeking a high-performing Executive Recruiter to lead full-cycle recruitment for hospitality leadership placements nationwide.
This is not a transactional recruiting role—this is a strategic talent acquisition position focused on identifying, vetting, and placing top-tier operators into high-impact environments, including distressed hotel assets, executive leadership roles, and turnaround assignments.
You will be responsible for delivering precision-matched candidates to ownership groups, management companies, and asset managers who require immediate, high-level talent solutions.
Your mission:
Find the right leader. Fast. Every time.

Key Responsibilities
• Manage full-cycle recruitment for hospitality leadership roles (GM, AGM, DOS, DOO, Executive Chef, DOH, etc.)
• Source, screen, and qualify candidates through proactive outreach, networking, and database development
• Conduct in-depth interviews to assess operational expertise, leadership capability, and cultural alignment
• Build and maintain a pipeline of pre-qualified, placement-ready candidates
• Partner with clients to understand exact hiring needs, timelines, and operational challenges
• Deliver shortlists of top candidates—not volume, but precision
• Coordinate interviews between candidates and clients, ensuring a seamless experience
• Advise clients on market conditions, compensation structures, and hiring strategy
• Maintain consistent communication with candidates throughout the recruitment lifecycle
• Support MSHG’s 120-Day Placement Guarantee Program with high-quality placements
• Track and report recruitment metrics, pipeline status, and placement success rates

About the CEO – Matthew Sanscrainte
Matthew Sanscrainte, Founder & CEO of MSHG, has built his career on identifying one core issue in hospitality:
The wrong people are in the wrong roles.
Through years of operational leadership and distressed hotel recovery, Matthew recognized that talent placement is the single most critical factor in a hotel’s success or failure.
He created MSHG to solve that problem—by delivering not just candidates, but leaders who can execute, transform, and win.
As the author of “Hotels in Chaos,” Matthew brings a bold, unapologetic leadership philosophy:
No fluff. No excuses. Only results.
